$5 Increase for GCI

So, have you taken a look at your latest bill from GCI? No? Well, if you are like me and spend a bundle on GCI for cable and internet, your bill is going up on August 1st.
So, what do we get for our $5?
For us geeks, higher Internet download speeds mine went from 3 Mbps to 4 Mbps on Wednesday - a nice bump - I did confirm the speed increase with Speakeasy - always a good souce (GCI technicians recommend it).
Other speed increases include 6 to 8, 7 to 10, and 10 to 12Mbps (and the low end speeds doubled also).

Dear IT Doc, Are the new iPhones really better? My husband gave me mine in Dec. 2007. I like it fine. Do I need to update? How much faster would it be? I don't store music; what size would I want to get? Does Apple plan to improve the OS shortly? Should I wait until December?
